Pharmacogenomics

Pharmacogenomics

Pharmacogenomics is the study of how genes can affect a person’s response to drugs. This relatively new field combines pharmacology(the science of drugs acting on biological systems and how the body responds to the drug) and Genomics (the study of genes and their interactions and functions) to develop effective yet safe medications and doses that will be tailored to a person’s genetic makeup. Proteomics Conferences 2023 will elaborate on

  • Pharmacogenomics for cardiovascular diseases.
  • Pharmacogenomics for obesity
  • Pharmacogenomics for diabetes
  • Predictive prescribing
  • Drug discovery technologies
  • Limitations of Pharmacogenomics
